Side-Shaft torque measuring system from Melectric Systems on a propshaft

Side-Shaft
Torque System

The Melectric Side-Shaft torque measuring system is a high-precision answer to real-time torque measurement on propshafts in motorsport and the automotive industry.

It was developed for applications that need a compact build, high measuring accuracy and rugged construction.

The driveshaft itself becomes the sensor, up to ±5,500 Nm, with no intermediate component.

The Melectric Side-Shaft torque measuring system is a high-precision answer to real-time torque measurement on propshafts in motorsport and the automotive industry. It was developed specifically for applications that need a compact build, high measuring accuracy and rugged construction.

Unlike other systems, this one needs no separate amplifier, because the signal processing is already fully integrated. That takes up less room and makes installation easier.
