Torque measurement in MotoGP
In racing, precise control of power and shifting decides the result. With the contactless torque sensor from Melectric Systems, the KTM Red Bull Factory Racing team has taken the performance and the development of its MotoGP bike to a new level.
The sensors on the hollow shaft at the gearbox output play a decisive part in fine-tuning shifts, measuring power and setting up gearbox and clutch, and they help avoid overload.
